Wild Child...Happy Birthday. Best wishes to you and the family. Say "HI" to Charlie for me too. And...did I ever thank you for the job at KHOW? Kept me from starving that winter in Denver.

I know that picture of you at what? 18? Is a early promo photo from when you started here in 1966? at KIMN...to accompany the photo you also should post the original aircheck of you from 1966 that can be found on the Internet...it is one of the most hilarious pieces I've ever come across!

Hal:
Just notice you had your 70th birthday! I don't believe it!
May you continue to bring joy over the radio waves and tell Linda I said 'hi'.
Hope to see you soon.

As a fellow Iowan I want to wish you a Happy Birthday, Hal!!! My husband and I listened to you and Charlie in the early 70s while we dated and enjoyed all the stories the two of you had to share on KHOW. We love that you are back on the radio and enjoy hearing Charlie on Friday mornings, even for a short time. Have a wonderful week-end in the west.....We love you Hal!!!!!
