9/11 9/11 REMEMBRANCE RUN 2010 The 2010 9/11 Remembrance Run/America Goes the Distance, will start and finish with festivities at Memorial Park, 7365 W. 59th Ave., Arvada (just north of Olde Town Arvada) to benefit Operation Restoration at Lost and Found Inc. - a program for military and their families, veterans and their families.

The event includes a 20 and 10 mile timed marathon training course – perfect to train for the upcoming Denver Marathon (the course has been endorsed by the Denver Marathon for that purpose). There is also a family friendly 5K run/walk. After the race there will be food, music, card signing for care packages to go to deployed troops.

Registration opens at 6:30am
20 mile starts at 7:00am
10 mile starts at 7:30am
5K run/walk starts at 8:30am

9/11 1ST ANNUAL RIDE FOR KOSTON Koston is a one-year-old boy who recently lost his father, Army Sgt. Grant Wichmann, of Golden, CO, serving during Operation Enduring Freedom. Sgt. Wichmann died of wounds sustained when enemy forces attacked his unit using small arms fire at Outpost Bari Alai, Afghanistan. 9/11 PURPLE STRIDE GOLDEN GALLOP: RACE TO DEFEAT PANCREATIC CANCER This year, over forty-three thousand Americans will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. 9/12 5K BLAST (fundraiser for girls’ soccer team) This 5K blast run is a fundraiser for 30 girls (2 teams) who are chasing their dreams to go play soccer in the UK. 9/18 ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION MEMORY WALK Help the Alzheimer’s Association of Colorado put an end to Alzheimer’s by raising pledges for Memory Walk.
